My Beliefs
Hello, I am PeiLing Ngan (Lyn). Project Ling is my ongoing personal project that documents my growth across technology, community building and communication. My work explores how people understand and adopt new tools, and how communities support that process.
I believe creativity and practicality can work together. Ambition gives us direction, but progress depends on systems, discipline and the people around us. Throughout my career, I learned that meaningful work happens when we build communities where knowledge is shared and strengths are combined. This mindset guides how I approach marketing, content and community today.
In my life, there were three turning points.
1. Back in secondary school, I was asked to edit a music track for a performance. That simple task sparked my interest in audio technology and showed me how creativity and technical tools intersect. This set me on the path to pursue a diploma in Music and Audio Technology.
2. Entering the entertainment industry at KKBOX exposed me to large audiences, creator communities and the mechanics of how content travels across platforms. I learned how to create for different cultures, how to measure audience sentiment and how online communities grow and shift. This shaped my understanding of community behaviour and digital communication.
3. Joining Morpheus Labs shifted my focus into AI, developer ecosystems and workflow automation. I learned to translate complex tools into clear stories, use cases and tutorials that help SMEs, developers and creators adopt new technology. This was where I realised how communities accelerate understanding, trust and real-world usage of new tools.
I believe strong communities grow through clarity, transparency and consistent communication. People adopt new tools when they understand how they work, why they matter and how these tools can support their goals. Open and honest information reduces fear, aligns expectations and builds trust, which is the foundation of any healthy ecosystem.
In fast-moving industries like AI and technology, users need more than features. They need guidance, support and a space where questions are welcomed. Communities thrive when people learn together, share knowledge and feel included in the journey rather than spoken to from a distance.
With experience in music, media, marketing and AI, I have seen how different groups respond to change. Whether working with creators, SMEs or developers, my belief is the same. Clear communication helps people experiment with confidence, and community makes progress sustainable. My goal is to help bridge technology and people by making complex ideas feel accessible, practical and human.

你好，我是颜佩玲（Lyn）。「玲计划」是我一直在进行的个人小项目，用来记录我在科技、社区建设和沟通方面的成长。这里也是我思考人们如何理解新工具、如何真正开始使用它们，以及社区如何在这个过程中发挥作用的地方。
我一直觉得，创意和务实是可以一起存在的。梦想会带我们走向前方，但真正的进步靠的是系统、坚持，还有身边一起努力的人。在一路工作的过程中，我发现最有意义的事情，往往出现在一个愿意分享知识、互相补位的社区里。这样的想法，也影响了我现在做市场、内容和社区相关工作的方式。
我的人生里有三个重要的转折点，让我走到今天的方向。
第一，是在中学时期。
那时候我因为一场表演，被要求剪一段音乐。这个小任务让我第一次接触音频软件，也让我意识到创意和技术可以一起发挥作用。后来我选择了音乐与音频科技作为我的专业，从那时候开始，我对「工具」如何帮助创意、工作和沟通有了真正的兴趣。
第二，是加入 KKBOX。
在娱乐产业里工作的那段时间，我接触到大规模的线上受众、粉丝生态、不同文化的内容需求，也亲眼看到社区的力量。我学习到如何读懂受众、如何处理节奏很快的内容生产，以及如何在不同平台上和不同文化的用户沟通。这段经历让我第一次真正理解「社区行为」是什么。
第三，是进入 Morpheus Labs 的 AI 和科技领域。
这是我从娱乐转向科技的关键一步。在这里，我开始把复杂的 AI 和自动化工具，用更清楚、简单的方法解释给中小企业、开发者和创作者听。我制作使用案例、教学、合作伙伴内容，也处理社区提问、情绪和 adoption 的过程。这让我意识到，技术只有在被理解之后才会产生真正的价值，而社区正是让技术变得可理解的关键角色。
我一直相信，好的社区建立在清晰、透明和真诚沟通的基础上。只要信息是开放的，用户就会更愿意尝试，也更愿意理解新的工具。恐惧来自不了解，而清楚的说明可以让人安心。
在快速变化的科技环境里，人们需要的不只是功能，还需要被引导、被倾听和被支持。他们需要一个能提出问题、不怕被误解的空间。社区之所以重要，是因为它让学习这件事不再孤单，也让 adoption 变得更自然、更持久。
无论是创作者、中小企业还是开发者，我发现只要沟通够清楚，大家都会更愿意尝试新事物。而当大家愿意一起分享和成长时，社区就会真正推动技术带来影响。我希望自己能继续做那个桥梁，把复杂的技术变得更亲近、更实用、更有人情味。
